Make the Summer Count ☀️

As cyclists we know that cycling is such a weather dependant sport. One day on the bike can feel so different when we are in the cold, wet and wind compared to cycling under the blue skys. With the better weather on the horizon it's so important to make the time on the bike count to help us build the endurance for the long rides which we love and become faster on the climbs we loathe.

Especially for the fair weather cyclists out there it's important to ensure that we use the spring and summer season wisely to help in our quest to be stronger cyclists. Here is some tips and motivation to help you make the most of your cycling season.

  • Enter some events. There is nothing more motivating than to have something in the calendar to work towards. Consider events that will challenge you. Is it that it will make you cycle further or are you going for a Personal Best. Perhaps you want to discover different disciplines on the bike. With our online coaching, discussions with your coach will motivate you to set these goals and help keep you accountable.

  • Give yourself the time to get out cycling. Unfortunately, all the perfect weather in the world is not going to transform you into a magnificent cyclist. You need to carve the time out of your day to give yourself your time out on the bike. Don't feel guilty for doing what you love and you know is healthy.

  • Follow the right training that is going to help you achieve your goals. As the saying goes, if you keep doing the same things, you will get the same results. This is known as insanity. If you don't know where to start then one of our online coaches can give you the expert advise and training.

  • Connect with other female cyclists that are passionate about cycling as much as you are. Make the time to cycle with others, but be mindful that they are helping you either achieve your goals or help you feel more passionate about your time on the bike. If you want to feel inspired by other strong women, there are plenty of them on our cycling camps.

We all know every year summer is gone so quickly, so if you are serious about improving your cycling this season. Talk with one of our team about getting the support of a coach.
